How PilloOfertas works
PilloOfertas brings together deals from online stores for shoppers in Spain. This page explains, without fine print, where the deals come from, what we check before publishing them and what to expect from the information you see.
Where the deals come from
We work with affiliate sources and with tools that spot deals in online stores. Today most of our deals come from Amazon.es.
We don't publish everything we find: a deal only shows up on the site if it passes our checks.
What we check before publishing
That the deal data is recent, that the link goes to the product page in the store, that the discount is real and that the product fits one of our categories.
Categories are decided by a person. When a new type of product appears, we review it by hand before publishing deals of that type.
Prices can change
Stores change prices and availability at any time, and some deals are limited in time or units.
The price and terms that count are the ones the store shows at checkout. Each deal shows when its data was last updated.
How we remove outdated information
If we no longer have recent data for a deal, we hide it until we can check it again. When a deal ends, it leaves the site. We would rather not show a deal than show a price that is no longer real.
Descriptions written with the help of AI
Some product descriptions are written with the help of artificial intelligence from the information we have, such as the product name, the brand and the category.
That text never includes prices, discounts or availability: we always show those separately, from the most recent data. We also check every text automatically and discard those that make claims we cannot back up. When a product page uses this kind of text, we say so.
Affiliate links
Links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change the price you pay or which deals we publish.
